Harley Benton has updated its Vintage Series semi-hollow with some great new finishes. The popular HB-35 Plus models are now available in four new colour options for 2021. So if the original run of colours was too traditional for your liking, these new finishes might be worth checking out.
Harley Benton HB-35 Plus
Part of its Vintage Series, Harley Benton’s HB-35 Plus semi-hollow model has always been a popular model ever since it hit the shelves. Now the guitar has been updated with four new finishes, including Metallic Plum, Metallic Green, Metallic Blue and Black.

Semi-Hollow
The guitars construction includes a maple semi-hollow body with an arched top and a mahogany sustain block. You also get a Canadian maple neck with a Pau ferro fingerboard. The neck has a set of block inlays and 22 frets, as you would expect for a guitar of this style.
Alnico 5 Humbuckers
Pickups are a pair of Roswell LAF Humbucker Alnico 5 models, that are wired through two volumes controls with push/pull coil split, two tone controls, and a three-way toggle switch. Hardware includes a gold coloured Tune-o-matic-style bridge and die-cast tuners, so a nice solid base with a subtle touch of bling.
Overall, a well-spec’d semi-hollow model. And the new finishes look great!
