These new Harley Benton MV-4JB Gotoh models come in four great new finishes and each one features enhanced pro-spec Gotoh hardware. Offering bass players some sweet colour combinations and a lot of quality for the price tag.
Harley Benton MV-4JB Gotoh
The Harley Benton MV-4JB Gotoh model is launching in Burgundy Mist, Black, Shell Pink and a Daphne Blue finish. All of these are paired with a tortoiseshell pickguard, which I think suits them really nicely.

Construction
An alder body is paired with a bolt-on neck made using Canadian hard rock roasted maple that has a D-profile, a Roseacer Skunk Stripe and a laurel fretboard. The neck has a set of block inlays on the fretboard plus binding around the neck itself.

Hardware
The bridge comes from Wilkinson and uses brass saddles and the tuners are of course the highlight of the product range: Real Gotoh GB-7 models, which should hold tuning nicely.

Roswell
These models come factory fitted with a set of Roswell JBA-B alnico 5 single-coil (bridge) and Roswell JBA-N alnico 5 single-coil (middle) pickups. The pickups have a traditional J-Bass wiring setup that includes 2 x volume and a single tone control.
Value for money
I can see these being a bit of a bargain and the colours really make them good-looking bass models as well. Especially, at this more than affordable price point.
Harley Benton has been busy this month already and we have seen some great new colours with their offset guitars and some great value bass models introduced as well. Hopefully, this is just the beginning and I look forward to seeing what comes out next.

As mentioned before, how is it even possible to buy the materials for this and other Harley Benton guitars, let alone pay someone to assemble it, and make a profit on top of that? It makes no sense to me.

Now, make them in bulk and the cost goes down even more per unit
