Thomann’s logistics center at the company’s headquarters in the tranquil village of Treppendorf, Germany, has grown into a massive operation that now dispatches more than 7 million packages per year. To ensure that your order is on its way as soon as you hit the order button, the retailer stocks more than 130,000 products in its warehouse. Needless to say, that means that space is always at a premium. In 2017, Thomann began to expand its dispatch center, where packages are loaded onto trucks through a network of conveyor belts.

Every day, between 80 and 100 trucks leave the center to bring you the latest in music gear and accessories. Thanks to the new facility, it now takes less than 20 minutes on average before your package is on its way. And now you can explore the warehouse by drone! The spectacular flight onboard a 4K racing drone takes you from the new dispatch center to the logistics center and back. Hop onboard and enjoy the ride!

I hope they’ve got good fire suppression systems! Would be a tragedy if all that gear went up in flames! I think I spotted sprinkler pipework.

That’s quite mad actually, impressive! Makes me want to buy something from there immediately. 🙂
