Electro Faustus EF209 Drone King: kneel before these tones
The EF209 is the self-proclaimed Drone King by pedal manufacturers Electro Faustus. It features 6 oscillators and numerous modulation possibilities.

On the website they’ve managed to describe it without a single line of text. But scrabbling around their various social feeds I can tell you that it’s the successor to their Drone Thing which had 6 oscillators in series whereas the Drone King splits this into 2 banks of 3 oscillators. The blue knobs give you control over the pitch of the oscillators, then you have control over the LFOs, filter cutoff and resonance.
On the back it has an audio “Thru” so it can play nice with your pedalboard if that’s how you choose to use it.

The sound is pretty immense although it is relying on your other pedals for effects such as delay and reverb.
I would encourage them to share a bit more information about the Drone King to help us understand and appreciate what’s going on – but that’s just me.
