Solar Guitars launches yet another new model, the all-mahogany S1.6ET LTD
Solar Guitars has just announced an all-mahogany limited edition model, the S1.6ET LTD, which comes equipped with some great hardware.
S1.6ET LTD
This new version of the S1.6ET LTD is a mahogany bodied guitar finished in flame Solar burst matte finish, and yes, the neck is mahogany as well, making this a pretty good looking guitar. It also has a flame maple top which makes the burst finish pop nicely.
It comes fitted with the EverTune bridge, a set of Grover locking tuners and you get 24 Super Jumbo frets fitted to the ebony fingerboard which has Luminlay side dots, which will certainly be welcome to gigging players that play on dark stages.
The S1.6ET LTD comes loaded with a pair of Duncan Solar HB114 humbuckers, so should have plenty of grunt, especially when combined with all that mahogany.

Pre Order
You can preorder the S1.6ET LTD now and Solar Guitars should be shipping them during July, so not too long a wait. I have to say that I am very impressed with Ola Englund‘s brand and he has launched a number of guitars in recent weeks, what with the eight new models last month and then the At The Gates signature model. This guy seems unstoppable.
This is definitely a guitar brand to keep a close eye on if you like high-quality performance guitars. If you haven’t checked them out before, click here to read more of my articles on Solar Guitars. This is a pro spec guitar for not a lot of money, so it’s one to take a serious look at if you are in the market for a new rock/metal guitar this year.
