PRS Europe has just announced a new LTD Edition SE Mark Holcomb in Whale Blue Satin, which will be available throughout Europe on a first come, first served basis and a limited supply.
LTD Edition SE Mark Holcomb in Whale Blue Satin
PRS Europe has just announced upcoming availability of this model in Europe. It’s based on Mark Holcomb’s US 2015 USA Ltd Ed Custom 24 signature model. The Whale Blue Satin finish is hand-rubbed and looks pretty unique.
Alpha and Omega
With a pair of Mark’s preferred signature model Alpha and Omega Seymour Duncan humbuckers that also have a coil-split, the guitar is a 25.5″ scale length rather than the standard PRS 25″. Mark prefers a longer scale length, you see. It has the full PRS bird inlays on the bound ebony fretboard. Also onboard is a hardtail PRS bridge specially designed for Mark, as well as a set of standard PRS standard tuners, so this should stay in tune well.

Super flat!
Mark’s chosen specs for his signature model are a mahogany body, a quilted maple top and maple neck. He also specified a super flat 20″ fretboard radius for this guitar!
PRS have released guitars linked to the Periphery guitarist in various colours in the past. I think that this new one looks really good with its hand-rubbed finish. So if you were in the market for one, you may well want to consider this new limited run version.
