Let’s not forget the drummers! The musicians who can make or break any live performance more than any of the parts of the band. We’ve dug in and selected the best drum deals in Thomann’s Cyberweek 2024 promotion. There are acoustic drum kits from heavyweights like DW, Gretsch, Mapex, and Tama on sale. Plus, a few e-drum kits are part of the massive price drops as well. And there is more!

Best Drum Deals for Thomann Cyberweek 2024
It’s not quite Black Friday yet, but these just might be the best drum deals of the year at Thomann. Europe’s biggest music retailer has seriously dialed down the prices for some premium drum kits, both acoustic and electronic. Additionally, there are a few drum hardware and individual acoustic drums on sale.
And let’s not forget the percussion enthusiasts! The deals are fewer but better, I’d argue. Also, we could only select a few since Thomann is running over 800 deals (!) as part of its Cyberweek 2024. So, do dig in, and see if additional deals are available. And sometimes, the deal might be less obvious, as it might not be a price reduction but the addition of a second item like another drum head or a pair of sticks that you’ll get for free.
Premium Acoustic drum kits from DW, Gretsch, Sonor, and Tama on sale!
Let’s start with the best drum deals for acoustic drum kits. There are loads of kits from DW available at reduced prices, but two stand out. First there is the DW Design Shell Pack in Steel Grey* (22″ x 18″ Bass Drum, 10″ x 08″ Tom, 12″ x 09″ Tom, 16″ x 14″ Floor Tom) going for 1,498 euros instead of 1,949 euros. If you can spare a bit more change, you can save a whopping 35 percent for DW’s premium model, the Exotic Private Reserve CABB*. That kit goes for 8,888 euros instead of 13,798 euros.
Let’s stay with premium, professional drum kits. Gretsch’s 140th Anniversary Jazz Set is available for 6,798 euros instead of 7,298 euros. In a similar price region, we find Tama’s STAR Drum Bubinga Set in Natural Indian Laurel for 6,898 euros instead of 7,398 euros. And finally, there is a also an model from the famed SQ1 series from Sonor on sale: SQ1 Rock GT in Cruiser Blue for 2,390 euros instead of 2,799 euros.
Budget acoustic drum kits from DrumCraft, Mapex and PDP with up to 37 percent off
Now, let’s look at acoustic drum kits for the rest of us (me included). These are by no means bad drum kits, but they might not be as premium and finely crafted as the aforementioned. To start with, there are a ton of drum kits from Mapex on sale. Being a Mapex player myself, I can highly recommend them. You’ll get a lot of ‘oomph’ and ‘swack’ for very reasonable prices! Highlights are the Armory Stage+ II Set in Ultra Marine at over 36 percent off and the Saturn Rock Set in Aqua Fade at over 35 percent off.
Some of the best drum deals can be found in lower-price regions. The Series 3 Standard Set from DrumCraft in Turquoise Sparkle, you’ll get a Series 4 Cymbal Boom Stand for free! And if you buy the PDP New Yorker Daru Jones drum kit from DW’s budget-friendly PDP sub-brand, you’ll get Millenium DSS-718B Stage Snare Stand for free!
Best Drum Deals for E-Drums: Efnote, Millenium, and Yamaha
Moving on to the best drum deals in electronic drums, there are three deals worth mentioning:
- The Efnote 5X E-Drum Set is available for 3,598 euros instead of 3,998 euros
- The Millenium MPS-750X Pro Mesh Bundle costs 777 euros instead of 849 euros
- Yamaha’s finger drum pad FGDP-50 goes for 222 euros instead of 298 euros
Snare Drums from DW and Sonor, and Cymbal Packs from Zildjian
Not all of us need a whole new drum kit or their first one. For many drummers, it’s snares they lust after, and it’s snare sounds they endlessly tweak, tune, and research. Black Beauty, anyone? There are a few snare drums on sale from premium brands DW and Sonor. The model 14″x6,5″ Performance Steel can be had for 369 euros instead of 479 euros (check the other Performance series snares for more deals!), while the popular Sonor SSD 13″x5,75″ Benny Greb 2.0 is available for 748 euros instead of 849 euros.
And when it comes to cymbals, there is everyone else, and then, there is Zildjian. So, it’s very worth mentioning that there are two cymbal packs from the Turkish cymbal maker on sale.
Drum Accessories on sale: Pedals from Pearl, Tama and DW, Drum heads from Evans
Right after your personal snare sound comes your personal bass drum pedal. After all, when you’re playing a gig and use a shared kit (*shudder), it’s the one thing most drummers bring along besides the breakables (cymbals and snare). Take a look at these deals on premium pedals from Pearl, Tama, and DW!
Then, Evans is running a promotion similar to that in September. If you buy a 22″ EMAD2 Clear Bass Drum head from them, you’ll get an Evans 14″ Genera HDD Snare head for free! There are also two practice pads from Evans on sale, where you’ll get a pair of Pro Mark 5A Rebound Drum sticks for free!
Best Drum Deals for Percussion
And finally, there are a few deals on percussion items at Thomann Cyberweek 2024 as well. Check these out and save a lot of money!
