As content creation continues to grow, products like the new Mackie DLZ Creator digital desktop console ensure the professional standard of the activity as a whole.
The DLZ provides a solution aimed to simplify the workflow of experienced users or take your setup to new heights as a beginner, with quality features for the different aspects of content production.
Mackie DLZ Creator
With a colour touchscreen, 100mm faders, automated setup functionality, and multiple operating modes, the DLZ gives you 24-bit 48 kHz multitrack recording with four Onyx 80 mic preamps.
In addition, you get compatibility with mobile devices via Bluetooth 5 and Minijack as well as the ability to record directly to an SD card or USB drive.
One of the most useful features is the integrated Mix-Agent system. Here, jobs like setting your mic input levels, assigning suitable processing effects, and configuring the headphones output levels can be done automatically in seconds.
What’s more, with the AutoMix function you can quickly achieve an intelligible and usable mix and output level, which is especially useful when dealing with multiple participants on a podcast.
The Easy”, “Enhanced” and “Pro” DLZ Work Modes are designed to fit the user’s skill level, or the demands of your particular workflow.
While Easy mode provides preset channel strip settings for quick operation, Pro mode lets the user delve into the more advanced features for more detailed and customized control.
Built-in effects include parametric EQ, de-esser, compressor/gate, reverb, and delay and there are five dynamically color-coded knobs and six assignable backlit sample pads.
