2026 Fender American Professional: What’s New?
Every year, Fender releases new versions of its guitars and praises their exciting new features and upgrades. Once again, the new American Professional models come with several new features, including new V-Mod III pickups on all models. According to Fender, these are custom-voiced for balanced output, note clarity, and a unique touch.
Moreover, the bridges have all been redesigned for improved resonance, more sustain, and enhanced comfort. Speaking of comfort: the new necks feature rolled edges that let the hand move freely across the fingerboard, as well as a silky-smooth ‘Super Natural’ finish. The electronics have also been upgraded with ClassicGear Precision Pots and Push-Push tone controls on all models.
The 2026 Fender American Professional series includes the following models: Stratocaster, Stratocaster HSS, Telecaster, Hot Shot Telecaster, Jazzmaster, Jaguar, Precision Bass, Precision Bass V, Jazz Bass, and Jazz Bass V.
The choice of woods hasn’t changed. Depending on the model, the body is made from alder or ash, and for the neck you can choose between maple and a combination of a maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard. What’s more, there’s once again a wide range of classic colors to choose from.
