Framus has just unveiled its new Panthera II Studio Supreme models, available either as Teambuilt or Masterbuilt guitars. Both have stunning maple tops and some unique carved designs.
Framus Panthera II Studio Supreme
German company Framus do not do things by halves! These two new Panthera II Studio Supreme models both look very impressive in both style and design. With carved AAAA flamed maple tops applied to mahogany bodies, the Masterbuilt version will certainly turn heads. You also get the option of either a set-in flamed maple or mahogany neck.
The Teambuilt version has a mahogany body and a carved AAA flamed maple top instead, which, to be fair, still looks pretty amazing. This incarnation comes with a maple neck.
Framus Panthera II Studio Supreme Masterbuilt
Tiger Stripe Ebony
Both Masterbuilt and Teambuilt versions come with tiger stripe ebony fingerboards, plus Plek fretwork with Invisible Fretwork Technology and rounded fret edges. Expect perfect frets and a smooth ride on both models.
Pickups-wise you get Seymour Duncan APH-1N Alnico II Pro humbucker in the neck, APS-1 RW/RP Alnico Pro II Staggered Single Coil for the middle and a coil-splittable SH-5 Custom bridge humbucker on both models.
Each guitar is wired via a five-way pickup selector, a two-way switch and master volume and tone knobs.

Premium Hardware
Elsewhere the guitars come fitted with Graph Tech Ratio Locking tuners, a Black Tusq low friction nut, and a TonePros Tune-O-Matic bridge. I can only imagine that these guitar will play perfectly and stay in tune with no issues, as all the hardware is top notch throughout.
You can order the Teambuilt version in Nirvana Black, Antique Tobacco, Burgundy Blackburst, Lagoon Blue Burst or Vintage Sunburst.
As usual, Framus has released a cracking pair of modern guitars with high end features to match, so if you are looking for an exceptional build, you really should consider the new Panthera II Studio Supreme models.
