TC Electronic updates Toneprint App, adds full iPhone support
Faster, more responsive and with more control
TC Electronic has updated its Toneprint App, saying the new version makes it “faster” and “more responsive” to use, while adding a lot of new features, templates and iPhone support.
Toneprint App
TC’s Toneprint App lets you control and store effect parameters from your iOS or Android device, and your PC or Mac, to your Toneprint-enabled pedal. This version now lets you tweak effects ‘on the fly’ from your iPhone or Android device, and now offers the “beaming” functionality to get your tones from your phone to the pedal on both iOS and Android. The Beaming function has now been folded into the main Toneprint app, so all that beaming thing now happens within the same interface.
There’s also more scope for tweaking your own sounds on your pedals, TC says. The company has added support for the ‘Mash’ pressure-sensitive footswitch, too. There are more templates as a starting point for making your own tones, although it seems you can’t edit the Artist sounds provided.

Upgrade
Check out the official TC Electronic demo video below for a full overview of what the Toneprint App can now achieve. It will work with all your existing Toneprint-compatible hardware, so if you’re already a customer, you are getting a nice working upgrade for all your existing equipment; for you, the upgrade is a no-brainer. This is a welcome addition to the company’s line-up and one that I can see a lot of musicians wanting to use.

Very secretive about how you hook a pedal to your iPhone. I’ve looked for hours and haven’t found out how you hook them together. There’s plenty of ‘how great it is’ but no ‘get this cord so you can do this great stuff’. Very frustrating. I bought a USB to USB connector for the TC cord to Apple cord but it didn’t work.
Yes , I agree. For some reason there are lots of complaints but no fixes or even suggestions. TC Electronics has completely checked out of their huge ball drop. Super disappointed!!!!
I don’t know it is helpful or not but my iPhone giving me so many problems and errors like iPhone error 4013. My phone goes turned off and I tried various methods for resolving it but able to solve this. TC electronics are able to solve this problem? If yes then solve this issue for me.
