TC Electronic hints at new Toneprint pedalboard via Facebook
TC Electronic tease again via Facebook
“We just leave that here,” TC Electronic said via Facebook to the picture.聽And what do we see? Even if the picture does not show us that much, it still shows enough.
Toneprint Pedalboard
After last weeks tease of a TC Electronic 2290 Digital Delay as a floor pedal, this latest tease was slightly more in line with what we could expect from the Danish effects maker.
The name “Toneprint Pedalboard” and the 5 next to the footswitch says (presumably) almost everything.聽A聽multi-effect聽with聽at least聽5 effect units聽, each having a foot switch.聽With what looks like TC’s聽MASH聽footswitches, which is a built-in聽expression pedal聽– not so sensitive, but still very useful for short gimmicks.
Particularly noteworthy, however, is the (OLED?)聽Display聽directly above the pedal.聽The display will show ”聽Hall Of Fame 2 Reverb聽” and below that probably the name or聽parameters you can control with聽that MASH switch?
The layout of the Toneprint pedals is identical.聽Therefore, it is only logical if you can change the pedals in order.聽Maybe it is even possible to聽convert them completely聽by聽Editor聽and聽to choose聽individually from the聽effect pool聽?聽So a聽Toneprint Pedalboard聽only for聽modulation聽effects聽, another for聽Overdrive聽and聽Distortion聽?聽Possibly also a Polytune is installed.
NAMM 2020?
Will we see the Toneprint Pedalboard for the first time in real on the NAMM 2020? Although Behringer always reserves a few nice things for these dates, it looks so far in the photo that it could possibly be on shelves tomorrow.
