You’ll find some great options for creating beats as a beginner, while we’ve also got some more serious semi-modular synths for the cable-friendly kids. Let’s take a closer look at the offers available:

Elektron Model:Cycles

The Model:Cycles is a versatile 6-track FM groovebox with intuitive sound and pattern creation features and a 64-step sequencer. Unlike some of the more advanced Elektron gear, this one is definitely OK for newbies.

Each audio track can function as a MIDI track, and gives you a choice of six FM-based sound generators called Machines. Once selected, each machine then has four unique controls for sound shaping.

In addition, the Model:Cycles is also equipped with one LFO per track, as well as send effects such as Delay and Reverb. Overall, it’s a great creative tool that will link up nicely with other gear in your setup.
