At MixCon, Plugin Alliance showed a glimpse of an upcoming Brainworx plug-in titled “bx_masterdesk”. Apart from the photo taken of a monitor connected to a computer running the plug-in, there is no other official information.

However, we can easily figure out that this is a mastering plug-in/suite that bundles vintage-looking compressor and equalizer. We can see buttons for activating limiting and compression with different circuit emulations, as well as switches for low- and high-pass filters.

There’s also an equalizer with bass, mid, treble, and presence controls as well as the brainworx M/S mono summing tool and the stereo enhances. Above these, a deesser is found, along with the master volume. We are yet to learn more about bx_masterdesk or its price and features, but we’ll keep you posted about any new information that comes up.

In the meantime, you can keep an eye out at this GearSlutz thread.

UPDATE: bx_masterdesk has been released! The plugin is available now for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3/AU/AAX) for $299 USD. You can save $100 USD OFF with coupon code bx_masterdesk-intro at checkout through August 2018. More information here.
