Harley Benton has added four new guitars to its Dullahan range of headless guitars, with new colours, new tuning hardware – and you could win a development prototype in a promotional contest.

The Dullahan model has been around for a while, we first covered Harley Benton’s headless guitar model back back in 2019. Now Thomann’s inhouse brand has added two new versions of the Dullahan-FT 24 Roasted, with an alder body and a roasted maple neck and fretboard, in Shell Pink and Daphne Blue. Both colour schemes look really nice and harken back to classic car colours used by companies like Fender in the ’60s.

Transparent Finishes

The other pair of new guitars are Dullahan-AT 24 models, now available in Purple Black Burst and Tiger Black Burst. Both come with maple necks and ebony fretboards paired with a mahogany body with a flame maple veneer. These two new transparent finishes look very swish and have a touch of boutique classiness to them.

Updated Hardware

Each of the four new models has the newly redesigned, more accessible Apollo mono bridge which should give you solid tuning, while the headstock now gives faster, easier string changes. It’s a nice little upgrade and should make these headless models even more of a bargain than before. Both models have 24 stainless steel frets, a Graphtech Tusq XL nut and come loaded with twin Roswell HAF humbuckers. If you like an ergonomic, modern guitar then these new Dullahan models are something you really should be checking out.

Prototype Competition

To celebrate the launch of its new Dullahan-AT 24 and Dullahan-FT 24 Roasted models, Harley Benton is holding a special competition with a unique prize: one-of-a-kind prototype Dullahan guitars from its development workshop! Guitarists are invited to head to the Harley Benton Instagram channel and use the filter (see QR Code below) and add a Dullahan headless guitar into their collection. All that’s needed to enter the competition is to share and tag the Story or Reel.

Why do they slap dark wood necks on bright colored bodies and and bright wood necks on dark wood bodies?
