On the analog side, the MOTU UltraLite AVB offers two microphone inputs, two instrument inputs and six line inputs. You also get eight line outputs and a headphone output. The digital optical I/O lets you connect up to eight additional inputs and outputs. The interface connects to Mac and PC computers via USB 2.0.
Besides offering AVB connectivity, the Ethernet port can connect directly to a WiFi router. This lets you control the UltraLite AVB’s mixer and DSP effects from a smartphone or tablet, which makes the interface an interesting choice for live applications, as well.
