HY-ESG is an awesome new free plug-in for the popular “sequenced gate” or “trance gate” effect. You can shape the gating effect using an ADSR envelope. The Euclidian sequencer module lets you create rhythms in many different ways by defining the number of steps and pulses, rotation and direction. It can also be fully randomized. HY-ESG also offers three LFOs for modulating the ADSR and sequencer parameters, which can lead to very creative patterns. Very cool!

HY-ESG is available for Windows and macOS in VST, VST3 and AU formats.

Fabric 70 Crush

A couple of weeks ago, we introduced Fabric 70’s Basic Filters plug-in. Now the developer is back with a bit crusher effect. Crush lets you adjust the bit rate and downsampling for classic digital destruction. But the plug-in also offers a drive section with four different modes for added distortion, a noise generator that can react to the input signal, and pan and mix controls to bring it all together. If you’re looking for a versatile bit crusher and distortion, Crush is worth a look!

Crush is available for Windows and macOS in VST3 and AU formats.
