Accusonus Voice Changer
If you happen to be a producer of radio dramas, you’re going to love this new plug-in by Accusonus. But Voice Changer will be useful for any kind of creative vocal or speech production, including film, games, music and even podcasting.
Accusonus says that Voice Changer is designed to be quick and simple to use. The plug-in simplifies the process of transforming voices into all kinds of mythical creatures. Instead of having to set up a long processing chain of individual pitch shifters, filters, EQs and reverbs, Voice Changer gives you three simple controls: Character, Effect and Environment.
You start in the Character section, which gives you a choice of various human, humanoid and supernatural creatures. You can dial in the desired amount of processing using a large knob.
Next is the Effect section, where you can choose from a wide variety of effects like radio, phone, megaphone or even VHS tape. Again, there’s a large dial that lets you adjust the amount of the effect.
Finally, the Environment section lets you place your newly created voice into a variety of physical spaces like rooms, caves or stadiums.
The combination of these three simple modifiers lets you create unique voices in a snap. Voice Changer also comes with a selection of presets to get you started. Accusonus says that they will frequently deliver new preset packs through their new update system.
