Blue Cat Audio has just announced their new Re-Guitar plugin. The aim is to allow guitarists to re-voice their guitar and get infinite guitar tones out of a single instrument.

The new Blue Cat Audio Re-Guitar plugin can simulate many kinds of electric or acoustic guitar tones. Which means essentially with one single guitar, you could cover all the guitar tones you desire via software in your DAW of choice.

Zero Latency

Blue Cat Audio state that there is no latency and so the playing experience should feel natural and just as you would expect. I have not had the opportunity to try this software out myself yet, but if it can do what it claims then this could be an amazing studio tool.

The interface seems logical enough and you can run it on either Mac or PC in your DAW. You can either enhance or modify existing guitar tone whilst playing or virtually switch guitars after recording!

It is certainly cheaper than buying new pickups or guitars every few days. I’m going to have to check this one out, as I think if it works I would use this a lot myself.

You also have a virtual Volume and Tone pot, plus brightness and gain settings too.
