Intua has announced that exclusively during the NAMM show (25th-28th January) you can get their Beatmaker 3 app from the AppStore for free.

With Beatmaker 3 you can play, perform and record in an MPC styli. Lots of cool tools such as repeat, roll, swing, scales and chords. You can even control your other MIDI gear and integrate other synth and effects apps with full AUv2 and IAA support.

There are 8 banks of 128 pads where each is a multidimensional instrument. You can pitch and time stretch, mash, cut and chop samples all over the place. Then get to work in the traditional timeline pattern and song editor. Or save everything to the new flexible Scene Mode for instant recall.

There’s a whole bunch of library covering all genres and tastes or you can record straight into the app.
