Developer Momo Müller released plug-in/standalone editors for the Novation Circuit and Circuit Tracks grooveboxes. The plug-ins enable remote control of the Novation hardware from your DAW or externally. Pretty much all hardware functionality is available from the interface. There are also virtual X / Y pads which coax more interesting sounds out of the hardware. The plug-ins are sold for EUR 6.90 each, making it no-brainer upgrade for your Novation groovebox.
Momo Müller Circuit and Circuit Tracks Editor and Controller Plug-in
The great thing about these software editors is that all of the hardware’s functionality that’s normally accessed via menu diving or button shortcuts is now laid out graphically in a convenient window. Furthermore, things like Session Control, Macro Control, Synth 1 and Synth 2 can be edited intuitively from the interface. They can be automated in your DAW as well, and saved as presets. This expands the hardware’s functionality in meaningful ways. Additionaly, you can assign your own hardware parameters to two X / Y pads and control them like macros. For those who own (or want to purchase) the Circuit or Circuit Tracks, this software is an asset for sure.
