Johnny Marr has teased a new upcoming signature model in Fever Dreams Yellow. This could potentially be another limited run of his ever popular Jaguar model from Fender.
Fever Dreams Yellow
The Fender Johnny Marr signature Jaguar has been a huge hot for both parties, and often comes up as one of the top rated offset guitar models. Every so often Fender does a limited run of the model and it looks like we may now see a Fever Dreams Yellow version of the Jaguar soon. We know this, as Mr Marr shared the post below with the following text and hash tags Fever Dreams Yellow signature Jag. News coming soon. Marr has been playing the Jaguar live since the release of his latest solo album called Fever Dreams Pts 1 – 4, and so it looks like a neat tie-in with that release. Currently, the model is being offered in Olympic White and Metallic KO finishes. Though we have seen both a Lake Placid Blue and a Sherwood Green model in the past.
It is a signature model based on a 1965 Jaguar, and comes with Bareknuckle pickups along with a unique control setup that replaces the standard Jaguar selector switch with a four position selector switch for more versatility. Then you have the upper-horn slide switches; universal bright and pickup-switch position four bright. All of which gives you a great sounding guitar.
It also has a Jaguar bridge with Mustang saddles, with nylon post inserts for added stability, making it way better for tuning stability.
Hopefully, we will see this new Fever Dreams Yellow Jaguar sometime this summer. As the NAMM 2022 Show is next month, and Fender tends to release new models and colour options around the show.
