This Fender Limited Edition Johnny Marr Jaguar comes in a bold Fever Dream Yellow finish and is the latest version of his signature guitar. The original version came out in 2012 and has been one of the most popular signature offset models in the company’s history.
Limited Edition Johnny Marr Jaguar
The Fender Limited Edition Johnny Marr Jaguar in a new Fever Dream Yellow nitrocellulose finish. It is based on Marr’s favourite 1965 Jaguar and combines custom wiring and switches. These subtle tweaks make it a very popular guitar with players and fans of offset guitars. With a neck based on Marr’s 1965 Jaguar, with a custom maple neck profile and a 7’25” radius rosewood fretboard. It has 22 vintage-style frets and having played a few I will say that they are super comfortable guitars.

Another great feature of these guitars is the pair of custom-wound Bare Knuckle Johnny Marr single-coil pickups. Plus, you have a revised switching system that makes them a lot easier to dial in and gives great guitar tones. A four-position blade pickup switch mounted in lower-horn chrome plate, combined with two upper-horn slide switches: universal bright and pickup-switch position four bright, make this a great player’s guitar with bags of quality tones.

Hardware includes a revised Jaguar bridge with Mustang saddles and a set of nylon post inserts for improved stability, plus a chrome cover. Each guitar comes in a quality blue lined Fender hard case, with a Certificate of Authenticity and a strap.

The Smiths, The The, The Pretenders, Modest Mouse and The Cribs are all part of Marr’s musical history and this signature guitar is based on his years of experience. Let’s face it, he has a great tone and has written some absolutely amazing songs in his life. Therefore, this guitar is a very versatile instrument.
Sure, this Fever Dream Yellow is a bright finish, yet I reckon offset fans will love it.

Anyway, it’s good to see some other colour like this dark yellow, it fits the model well! The vintage mid 60s necks and profiles arent bad but nothing compares imo to the modern neck/profile like on the Ultra Luxe Jaguar
