The Active Noise Cancelation System

The microphones in each earpiece permit active noise canceling, while the JustMyVoice isolation system ensures optimum speech intelligibility. The Technics EAH-AZ60’s eight microphones shared between the left and right earpieces provide a completely natural communication medium. In addition to this, MEMS microphones are also used for capturing the voice and isolating the frequency range by reducing ambient noise levels through a system called beamforming. This dual hybrid noise-canceling system inside the EAH-AZ60 has both a feedforward system for ambiance reduction, and a feedforward system to focus levels inside the earbuds.

The 2 noise reduction modes have distinct purposes. The Natural Ambient mode uses a wide frequency range to capture, while the Attention mode isolates the presence of the human voice. Both models have a couple of colours on offer, and include a USB charge cable and various ear tip sizes. Pricing for the EAH-AZ40 starts at EUR 149, while the EAH-AZ60 will set you back EUR 229.
