Headrush Prime

This Headrush Prime takes the flagship pedalboard to new heights and has a host of useful features, making it perfect for the working musician. It uses a custom-designed multicore DSP system with gapless preset switching at the heart of the system. Making it a powerful piece of gear that can handle a variety of situations.

AutoTune

Described by HeadRush as having a huge library of ‘realistic and responsive’ onboard guitar FX, amp, cab and microphone emulations, smart amp cloning and IR loading, best-in-class looper, and a full suite of vocal FX. This one is packed with many benefits for working guitarists.

The inclusion of Antares AutoTune is a key element of Prime’s appeal and could be perfect for many performers.

They have an ever-expanding library of presets accessible via firmware updates and so users have the ability to grow this collection of guitar and vocal effects over time.

Amp & Effects Cloning

The Prime also features the ability easy clone existing amps and effects, making it easy to customise the users desired tastes. Just follow the instructions on the main screen to capture your favourite gear.

It also ships with around 300 onboard Impulse Responses and allows users to import third-party IRs.

Combine this with the amp/effects cloning and those aforementioned libraries, and it becomes a very customisable all-in-one solution for tone chasers and working musicians.

Looper

Users can access the onboard looper and get creative. The loops have a maximum length of 5 minutes and can hold up to 20 minutes of layered audio. I like that users can import WAV files to use within the looper as a backing track player. And they can sync the looper to external MIDI devices.

This all adds up to a pretty feature-rich compact pedalboard and thankfully it has an intuitive 7-inch high-resolution touchscreen interface to help users navigate all these features.

Then users can use the 12 footswitches with customisable colour LEDs and OLED scribble strips to assign the various models and trigger them as required.

Users can switch between various hands-free modes including  Stomp Mode, Rig Mode and Hybrid.

It is all housed in a steel chassis with a built-in expression pedal which all powers from a standard universal power supply.
