Lunacy Audio Haze: Rich, Dreamy Chorus and Reverb
Haze by Lunacy Audio is a unique combination of a smooth chorus and phaser with an algorithmic reverb. Designed for rich, dreamy, and spacious textures, Haze delivers anything from gentle stereo widening to swirling, resonant effects.
At the heart of the plugin is the diffusion network that lets you control the character of the space. In addition to Decay, this section includes Density and Spread parameters for fine-tuning the sound and width of the reverb.
You can then use the Scale and Motion controls to add modulation and send your signals into swirling orbits. There’s also a Smear filter for boosting resonance and adding intensity to the effect.
Haze is available for macOS and Windows in VST, AU, and AAX formats.
Ternär Music Technology Flechtwerk: Free Macro Synth Based on MI Plaits
Flechtwerk is a free macro synthesizer plugin with 24 unique synthesis engines. Think of it as Mutable Instruments Plaits in a plugin. After selecting the desired algorithm, you can easily shape the sound using three intuitive macro controls: Harmonics, Timbre, and Morph.
Flechtwerk also includes a built-in lowpass gate with a dedicated envelope for shaping the decay and timbre at the same time. The Timbre, Frequency, and Morph parameters can also be controlled by the envelope.
Flechtwerk is available for macOS, Windows, and Linux in VST3 and CLAP formats.

FKFX OF2 Lite: Free Morphing Filter
FKFX recently released Obvious Filter 2, the follow-up to the awesome morphing filter originally released in 2021. And you can get a basic version for free!
While OF2 Lite is limited to just one filter type as opposed to the ten different types available in the full version, it still includes the powerful morph sequencer and editor that makes Obvious Filter so versatile. You can use various drawing tools to create custom curves for animating and modulating the filter. There are also new randomization modes that generate unique rhythmic filter effects at the push of a button. The Lite version comes with a whopping 307 presets.
OF2 Lite is available for macOS and Windows in VST, VST3, and AU formats.
