The new Echo Fix EF-P2 Spring Reverb packs a full spring reverb into a compact floor pedal format and offers a 100% analogue signal path. Along with studio-grade sound quality which can accept line-level inputs from synths and other audio devices, not just guitar.

The Echo Fix EF-P2 Spring Reverb pedal has a 100% analogue signal path and a real set of springs at the heart of the sound. The circuit design uses increased internal voltage rails for studio use, so it can work equally well on line-level signals.

This guitar pedal is super versatile and potentially perfect for studio use. These pedals are designed and made in Australia and the company already has a solid reputation for building various types of reverbs. Having inputs that will accept line level is a huge bonus and takes it beyond just being a guitar effect.
Three Spring Reverb
Controls
The design is based on a three-spring reverb tank and it has an adjustable Spring Drive, Bass / Treble EQ controls, and a Reverb Volume control.
Soft momentary switching allows for noiseless Bypass and Direct Mute switching, which is great for live work as well.
Rear Panel
VU Meter
It has an illuminated reverb tank viewing window along with a Spring Reverb VU meter indicator on the front panel. The overall design is pretty retro all around and has all the basic reverb information you could ask for.
The pedal requires a 9 V DC power supply to run and has a mono jack input and output on the rear panel.
Verdict
If you want a true analogue spring reverb for your setup then this new EF-P2 could well be for you. The price for the unit is what I would expect from a boutique builder and so about right.
This could be a great studio tool if you need this vintage style of effect and a lot more natural sounding than a plugin within a DAW, for example.
