With the Vanguard series, the German manufacturer DrumCraft offers a selection of high-quality snare drums in various sizes and materials at very reasonable prices. The 14″ x 5.5″ maple Vanguard snare offered here is a true all-rounder with a warm and organic fundamental tone.
Compared to the 6.5″ deep model, it offers a slightly more direct response and more controlled dynamics. The features and workmanship are—as with all drums in the series—beyond reproach. The DrumCraft Maple Vanguard Snare in 14″ x 6.5″ is a true all-rounder. Maple is one of the most popular woods in drum making and is especially valued for its round and warm fundamental tone. The 5.5″ deep, six-ply shell offers a compromise between good response, fullness, and projection. The solid die-cast hoops, in this case, also contribute to a drier sound.

Entering the raffle is free of charge. You must be a resident of the European Union and be at least 14 years of age to enter. You can only enter once – multiple entries per competition will result in automatic disqualification. The prize is a DrumCraft 14″x5.5″ Maple Vanguard Snare.
All eligible participants who select the correct answer will be entered into the prize draw. A random generator will select one entry and the lucky winner will be notified by us (or the manufacturer) (delivery address will be requested by email). So please enter a valid email address! Employees of GEARNEWS.com, all associated companies, and their family members are excluded from the competition.
Your data will only be stored for the purposes of this competition and will not be passed on to third parties. There is no right of appeal and no cash alternative. The competition will run from Thursday, December 18, 2025, to Monday, December 29, 2025 (23:59:59 CET). Any entries received after this date will not be considered.
