The Rode Wireless ME provides a convenient mobile microphone system for vloggers and content creators. Expanding on the features offered by the successful Wireless GO microphone series, the Wireless ME promises to continue in a similar direction.
For starters, the dual microphone system provides mics in both the transmitter and receiver. This means the organic back-and-forth between the host and producer is captured in crystal quality.
Rode Wireless ME
Not only can the internal mics handle SPL levels of up to 122 dB, but they are also equipped with Rode’s convenient GainAssist feature. This way, the two internal omnidirectional mics are consistently leveled, avoiding clipping during content capturing.
What’s also impressive is transmitter has a 100-meter maximum range and allows you to connect external mics via its mini-jack input. If necessary, another transmitter module can be added to expand your setup and each module provides up to 7 hours of use on a single charge.
Transmitter and receiver.
The receiver connects via USB-C and has a two-channel 3.5 mm TRS output for connecting directly to your camera. Meanwhile, the lightning port allows you to interface with your iPhone directly.
All cables, such as the Rode SC7 camera cable, the SC2 cable for mobile devices, and a pair of windshields for outdoor use are all included in the bundle, as well as one USB-C cable and a USB-C to Lightning cable.
