Harley Benton CG-400CE Thinline
The new bargain-priced CG-400CE Thinline nylon-string acoustic-electric model from Harley Benton brings a load of great features to players at just €109. It has a super-slim body, only 7cm deep, plus a player-friendly a 650 mm scale-length and a 48 mm nut. You get an attractive, open-pore satin black finish, which looks really good on this style of guitar.
The body features a spruce top with fan bracing, and okoume back and sides with ABS body bindings. This is then paired to an okoume neck with carbon reinforcement, and a 19-fret curved blackwood tek fingerboard and matching bridge. The slotted headstock has a set of deluxe chrome tuners.
Onboard you have an HB-3t preamp system with controls for Bass, Middle, Treble and Volume, as well as an integrated chromatic tuner. So you get some pretty decent specifications, especially at this price point.
I think if I was in the market for a nylon-string guitar but had a limited budget, this would definitely be on my radar. Or, if you are thinking of taking up the guitar and were looking for an affordable, yet good all-rounder, then this new Harley Benton CG-400CE Thinline is certainly worth checking out.
