The JD-08 brings the famous JD-800 to Roland’s boutique series, with 128-voice polyphony and a choice of 108 digital waveforms as sound sources. It also offers multitimbrality and a two-stage effects section with distortion, phaser, spectrum, enhancer, reverb, chorus, and delay.
In addition, you get a 64-step pattern sequencer with motion recording and a random pattern generator. Besides the classic sounds, it’s a powerful synth for the price. So if you can get past the tiny knobs and sliders, it becomes a powerful creative tool.

KORG Minilogue XD
The Minilogue XD is a 4-voice polyphonic synth with two analogue VCOs per voice and a digital multi-engine oscillator with noise, FM, and selectable user wavetables. There are 4 operating modes including, Poly, Unison, Chord, Arp/Latch.
What’s more, you get a 16-step pattern sequencer with a motion sequencer and a digital effects section with a selection of modulation effects, delay, and reverb. Overall, it’s a great platform for sound creation and layering.

AKAI Professional Force
The Force is AKAI’s performance-orientated groove production workstation, featuring a step sequencer, sampler, 4 synth engines, and over 10 GB of sound content to get you started.
The console is centered around the 7-inch touchscreen display, 8×8 RGB backlit clip launch matrix, and 8 rotary encoders, each with its own display. Connectivity-wise, the Force also gives you MIDI and CV I/O as well as a pair of combo inputs with phantom power.

Roland Fantom-08
The Fantom-08 is a comprehensive 88-key music production and performance workstation. It offers 256-voice polyphony with ZEN-Core, and VTW Organ, as well as SuperNATURAL Acoustic, Acoustic Piano, and Electric Piano sound engines.
The sound library gives you over 3500 presets with more than 90 drum kits, and this can be expanded with the Roland EXZ, EXSN, and EXM Expansions. What’s more, the 16-track sequencer gives you plenty of ways to approach music creation.

Waldorf Iridium
The Iridium is a 16-voice digital synth module with a choice of Wavetable, classic waveforms, granular sampler, resonator, and kernel sound engines with 3 oscillators available per voice.
With the extensive 40-slot mod matrix, you can access the 6 LFOs, 6 envelopes, and 2 multimode filters. In addition, you also have a master effects chain and a master compressor to shape your sounds together.
