Steinberg’s flagship DAW now has new dialogue recording tools, MPEG-H Audio authoring features, more plug-ins, new Dolby Atmos features, and a range of improved workflow functions.

For starters, the new dialogue recording features include ADR Script Reader, which is a considerable upgrade. Now, you can view ADR takes on any laptop or tablet on your local network or even from your web browser.

Voice artists now have access to a digital onscreen script, while a producer can make changes at any time throughout the session. Another convenient addition is that any corresponding notes made with dialogue edits are stored in marker date within Nuendo.

Because dialogue consistency is a priority, Steinberg has added TonalMatch. This direct offline process profiles the characteristics of an audio file, allowing you to process other clips to match up the spectral profile and noise floor.

In addition, when you need to isolate the main dialogue track from other voices in the background, you now have VoiceSeparator. This new AI-assisted VST plug-in can also remove unwanted background voices and other sounds.

You can now process voices quickly and effectively with VocalChain, a plug-in with a selection of presets specifically designed for post-production applications. Moreover, the modular workflow makes voice processing easier than ever.

There are also improvements in the Detect Silence panel and ADR Swipe features, while extended support is offered for TTAL 1.1 for Netflix dubbing workflows.
