Yes, Satchel from Steel Panther has just announced an actual real pedal called the ‘Pussy Melter’ and this time it isn’t just a preset for a TC Electronic TonePrint enabled delay pedal.

Pussy Melter

This limited edition Pussy Melter is a distortion pedal and is made in the USA. Each one will also come with a hand numbered certificate of authenticity.

Okay, I have a feeling that Satchel was annoyed by his TC Electronic TonePrint ‘Pussy Melter’ getting pulled and renamed. So this is his tongue-in-cheek answer to the whole debacle.

Repeat Offender

The Pussy Melter distortion pedal will only be available until 1st October and could become a bit of a collector’s piece as it will cause some controversy no doubt.

Official Press Statement

The band has also released an official statement and as you can read below, they are all about freedom of speech.

“We respect and love the freedom of speech afforded to all citizens in the US. We support the right for all people to express themselves no matter where they are in the world.

“We welcome all races, genders and sexual orientations at our shows – shows that celebrate everyone’s individuality through partying, and of course a love of heavy metal.

“As clearly stated by Satchel when it was originally developed, the sound being created by the ‘Pussy Melter’ tone pack was intended to bring pleasure to females who heard it. Steel Panther is happy to announce that we are now offering pleasurable eargasms to everyone.

“The ‘Pussy Melter’ is now available for pre-order in our official store. This limited-edition pedal will only be available until October 1, at which point orders will begin shipping.”

Specification?

The details about the distortion pedal are minimal at the time of writing this article but I know it has controls for Dirty, Sizzle, Booty and Load. There is also a switch that toggles between Moist and Gushing. Of course, we know nothing of the quality of the effect pedal and I don’t really think anyone really cares, as this bright pink pedal release is more of a statement than anything else.

RRP – USD 199

UPDATE – 9/8/18

Satchel has just released a demo video of the pedal on YouTube, so we can finally hear it. I’ve attached the video below and you can here Satchel explain how it works.

And what’s better is that the SJW’s and PCer’s that were all bumhurt the first time around can’t do anything about it. Well played Satchel, well played.

These guys were minding their business when that stupid girl decided to use them to plug her own band. Why try to be a great band and get fans normally when you can create a hissyfit scene and benefit. These kids are drunk on the power to ruin people. It will bite them back soon. The internet remembers all.

Wasn’t Jef upset by this last time? And now it’s tongue-in-cheek?

Boring idea from a boring band.

Not near as boring as the people from the other 2 bands who started the ruckus in the first place.
