Steel Panther’s Satchel has just announced a new version of the infamous Pussy Melter pedal called the Butthole Burner. The promo video features his snake Alfonso. Yup, this is Satchel dialled up to 11.

The new Satchel Butthole Burner pedal is a Pussy Melter distortion/overdrive pedal in a new case and with a new, equally controversial name and artwork. This time the controls are labelled Gasoline, Lava Flow, Jalapen-low and Wasab-hi. Plus a two position toggle switch labelled Balmy/Scorched.

The band describes the new pedal thus: “It’s Hot! It’s Spicy! It’s sexy and feisty!!!” It costs $199, payable in four interest-free instalments of $50 each. Pussy Melter pedals are now changing hands for lots of money, so now could be the perfect time to grab one of these new Butthole Burner pedals.

Check out the official demo video below to hear it in action being played by Satchel through a clean amp. The pedals will begin shipping on 6 July – provided there are no COVID-19 related delays.

These are a limited edition and each one will come with a certificate of authenticity. That will make them even more desirable on the used market.
