With Sony, Bose, and Apple competing in the premium wireless headphones market, it leaves some space for Sennheiser in the more affordable price range.
Sennheiser Accentum
The closed-back Accentum design consists of 37mm drivers, 2 integrated mics for speech, and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. This allows simultaneous pairing with multiple devices, which saves plenty of time in the long run.
Also, the Accentum uses Sennheiser’s “Hybrid Active Noise Canceling” system to reduce noise whenever you need to. Playback codecs like SBC and AAC are both supported and you can use aptX HD for uncompressed audio formats.
A useful touch in its design allows the Accentum to function as an audio interface when using the included USB-C cable. This is a neat function, as you can use it to conserve battery time when you don’t need wireless audio.
Speaking of which, the Accentum offers up to 50 hours of playback, which is really impressive for headphones in this price range – as this exceeds the Sony WH-1000XM5, for example.
Just 10 minutes of quick charging will give you an extra 5 hours of playback time, and the foldable design has been put together with comfort in mind as well as easy storage.
