Noize vst au plug-in

Feeling like your production sounds a tad too clean and surgically sterile? Don’t worry, it’s a common symptom these days – modern sounds tend to get recorded all too clean and then have loads of processing thrown on top. If that’s the case with your mix, don’t reach out for the closest tube/tape saturator before giving developer Denise’s Noize a go.

Noize is an adaptable noise-generating plug-in which adapts itself in real time to sound input and can be creatively shaped for a tasteful result. The plug-in lets you solo the noise signal and add effects like bit-crushing and flanging while giving you adjustment options over its envelope with rise and fall controls. Noize features all five types of pure noise known to mankind – white, brown, violet, pink, and blue. Have fun hearing the colours!

Not convinced? Honestly, try subtly blending in a bit of specially prepared noise with your tracks – it goes a long way towards making squeaky-clean recordings sound less polished and more musical and organic. The plug-in also has potential as a tool for making EDM build-ups, which are just that – filtered swooshing noise. Overall, as a noise playpen Noize hardly has a rival. Not that you can’t simply process a noise generator as you wish, but having it all in one place always proves more convenient. Besides, noise is awesome!
