English developer Spitfire Audio worked with Fin Greenall (Fink) to create an acoustic guitar library. Sampled instruments include a 2004 Mal Brady Bouchier, a 2010 Martin D28, and a 1984 Martin D35. All played by the man himself and processed with his own effects rig in Berlin’s Jazzanova Recording Studio. The 54 presets also contain sections with percussion, vocals, and pads. There are nine controls for sound shaping, including String Squeak FX to control string noise… yeah, it goes deep!

Ghost Audio Factory Ghost Drums

Ghost Drums contains all kinds of drum sounds for EDM and rap producers. The factory bank includes 796 kicks, 264 snares, 939 tom and hi-hat loops, and 50 bass loops. There are both acoustic, electronic, and hybrid sounds. That’s a lot of content for the USD 160 asking price and the plug-in is very beginner-friendly.

Midnight Mirage VST is a virtual instrument from music producers Mike & Keys (credits include Nipsey Hustle, Dave East, and more). The rompler contains 90+ sounds designed by the Grammy-winning duo. Sound shaping options includee ADSR, reverb, chorus, delay, EQ, vinyl, noise.

Vienna Symphonic Library has provided two beautiful free instruments for the free Synchron Player. Fujara Flute is a traditional shephard’s flute from Slovakia performed by Veronika Vitazkova. Soft Imperial is a Bösendorfer piano recorded extra dry so that you can place it in any virtual space.
Slate Digital offers the free Terra Nova progressive house sample pack which includes 186 vocals, 195 drums, 114 tonal samples and 28 FX sounds in WAV format. It can be downloaded until April 31, 2022. After that, it probably will be charged for.
