3PT generates voltages in seven different modes across three channels including chords, random, quantizing, sequencer and modulation.
It’s a multi-mode three-channel voltage generator that you can use as a CV source for controlling three parameters in your Eurorack. Each channel has three knobs that control aspects of each channel and then use the big knob to dial in the intensity/speed/range or whatever the mode requires.
In Tripot mode it’s a bit like a macro knob where you can control three things at once within their own defined parameters. In LFO mode you’ve got control over the shape of each. In Chord mode you are outputting triads that you can control with a keyboard via the CV input. In Quantizer mode it will send CV back out restricted to one of 24 scales. Randomisation is different across all three channels and there’s a note mode as well as pure voltage. And it finishes off being an eight-step sequencer. Seven useful CV tools in a single module.
3PT is a very cool looking module with that triple-ringed display creating a lot of interest and useful visual feedback. The modes are os useful that I imagine you could easily have a row of those in your rack set to different things.
