Synth and effects plug-ins developer Rob Papen is celebrating his namesake company’s 25th year in the business. I adore his stuff – it’s always a clever mix of the old and the new which never fails to impress me. In celebration, Rob Papen is slashing prices by 25% on all synthesizers and effects. The developer is also giving away the RP-PAN plug-in. Cheers, man!

For the 25th anniversary of his software company, Rob Papen is cutting synth and effects plug-ins prices by a 25% (most appropriately!) So 1997 really was 25 years ago, huh? The passage of time can really mess with my head sometimes! Anyway, the deals include the following products and bundles:
The RP-PAN effect plug-in can be downloaded here, free of charge. You can use it to create some interesting panning effects, including tempo-sync Doppler simulations. It also has the super-cool Panning Sphere slited which lets you automate and record pan movements. The Sphere also has a ‘Spring back’ feature to revert the slider to either Center, Left, or Right in sync with project tempo.
You can currently get all reduced RP plug-ins here at Thomann * and help support Gearnews. The offers are valid until June 30, 2022. The free RP-PAN plug-in can be downloaded from the developer’s website.
System requirements
The software works under macOS 10.13+ and Windows 7+ in 32-bit (if supported) and 64-bit AU, AAX, VST and VST3 formats. You can also find demo versions and video tutorials on the developer’s website.

1997-2022 that’s a silver jubilee, init? Everybody laughed, as it only cost pennies, but I’ve been using Master Magic for years. Centres the bass, excites the top, which makes the bass sound louder (oh yes it does). Keep going Rob, so far so good.
