Each of the Air XD full-range speaker models features a custom-designed low-frequency driver with an enlarged 2.36-inch voice coil that extends the low-end response. While the Air XD 10 goes down to 55 Hz, the Air XD 12 and Air XD 15 go down to 40 Hz. Meanwhile, the high frequencies are reproduced by a 1.35-inch compression driver with a PEEK diaphragm for definition and clarity.

More Information

The 2-way driver systems are powered by 1,500 W Class D amplifiers that deliver a maximum SPL of up to 134 dB in the Air XD 15. In addition, one of the most exciting features of the Air XD PA speakers is the built-in mixer with EQ, a range of connectivity options, and a selection of DSP presets for different applications, such as front of house, speech, stage monitoring, and music.

On the rear panel of each speaker, there is a 2.6-inch display for metering and navigating the different functions. What’s more, there are two XLR combo inputs, a stereo minijack input, and Bluetooth 5.0, which is also available in the Air XD subwoofers, offering TWS Bridge Mode for wireless pairing.

The two subwoofer models are powered by 2,000 W of Class D amplification and have advanced DSP functions such as an adjustable crossover filter, alignment delay, and presets for cardioid and end-fire array configurations. What’s more, the Mo’ Bass enhancement setting adds an extra degree of low-end punch.
