Positive Grid has just launched the new Spark Neo Core headphones. These are based on the exact same technology as the Neo, just made more affordable by being a wired set, rather than wireless.
Spark Neo Core
The latest Spark Neo Core offers the same AI-powered virtual guitar rig and Spark app integration as the Neo headphones. The only real difference is that they have a wired connection, rather than a wireless one. Plug in a standard ¼” cable directly into them, and off you go!
Custom Drivers
The headphones feature 40mm custom drivers, offer noise isolation, and have been designed from the ground up to cater to electric, acoustic, and bass guitars. Making them ideal for guitarists who want to practice and jam along to tracks.
Bluetooth Backing Tracks
They use Bluetooth for audio playback of backing tracks, so users can stream their favourite tracks from a smartphone or other devices. Positive Grid designed the headphones to be ergonomic and comfortable for long sessions, so you can concentrate on mastering your instrument. The system is perfect for many players who need a silent, portable practice system with very flexible tone options.
Four Presets
The headphones can hold four presets at a time, with dedicated controls for guitar volume and backing track volume so that you can concentrate on your session without distractions.
When using the Spark app, you have access to all the features. You’ll have access to over 100,000 community presets in ToneCloud, making it highly likely you’ll find the exact sound you need.

The app also includes practical tools for improving your playing, such as AutoChords, which analyzes your songs and instantly displays the correct chords and fingerings. Plus, you get a variety of ready-made backing tracks for jamming.
A playtime of 6–8 hours on a single charge is impressive, and fast USB-C charging means you won’t have to wait long to get up and running.
