These Yamaha THR30II 10th anniversary models come in either all black or white finishes. Celebrating 1o years of the desktop amp that started a revolution for guitarists.
THR30II 10th anniversary
I cannot believe it has been ten years already, but these new Yamaha THR30II 10th anniversary models are here, and so it must be. Available in either black or white finishes, these two models are purely a cosmetic overhaul and have the same specifications as the standard THR30II * models.
“We now provide a choice of colours for the THR30II Wireless amplifier so that even more guitarists can find the perfect match for their style,” he continues. “This is the first time we’ve offered a THR in multiple colours, and it’s another way in which we’re celebrating ten years of THR.” – Yamaha
The perfect Desktop Amp?
These 30-watt desktop amps offer Yamaha’s VCM amp-modelling tech and each amp has three modes: Classic, Boutique and Modern. There are then eight different amp styles: Clean, Crunch, Lead, Hi Gain, Special, Bass, Aco (acoustic), as well as the option of no modelling at all – Flat.
They also feature Bluetooth support, which makes using them with a Line 6 Relay wireless receiver a breeze. Overall, these are possibly one of the best desktop amps on the market already and these two new colour options will no doubt be popular. Especially, as they will blend in nicely with your home or office.
The amps feature user memories so you can store your favourite tones, plus an onboard tuner and an accompanying app for editing them with your smartphone. I suspect that we will see dealers stocking these new colours soon, and so keep an eye out for them. The standard colour is still available though and can be ordered straight away.
