NAMM 2021: Rumours had been swirling around for 24 hours, but details are emerging of an all-new series of Noventa guitars, consisting of a souped-up, P90-loaded edition of the Stratocaster, Telecaster and Jazzmaster, the latter featuring three!

Fender Noventa Series

So what’s the Noventa all about? The first thing that jumps out at you is the focus on the P90 pickup. All three come loaded with the MP-90, and share some of the specs like 21 medium-jumbo frets and a 9.5-inch radius fretboard and a maple neck. Made in Mexico, the Noventa series looks pretty sweetm, I think. I love P90 pickups anyway, so I was impressed by this official announcement today. Let’s take a closer look…

Noventa Stratocaster

A Stratocaster with P90s is a glorious thing! The new Noventa Stratocaster could sound amazing. Weirdly, it is a hard tail Strat model, which is okay, but different. You can pick one up in either Daphne Blue, Surf Green or Crimson Red Transparent finishes.

RRP – USD 1049.99 / GBP 799 / EUR 899

Noventa Telecaster

I think this could be the pick of the bunch. The Noventa Telecaster looks really good – and because you expect a hard tail on a Tele, this makes more sense to me. Okay, it sports a single P90 pickup (I love that), with a cut down bridge and smaller, trimmed control plate. It looks badass, and I think it will probably sound it, too. I love, love, love single-pickup guitars…

Available in the following finishes, Vintage Blonde, Fiesta Red and Two-Color Sunburst.

RRP – USD 949.99 / GBP 759 / EUR 849

Noventa Jazzmaster

Anyone that knows me a little knows that I love offset guitars. And these new Noventa Jazzmaster models look pretty darn enticing. Three P90s! Okay, I think I can handle all that goodness. They’re wired via a master Volume and Tone with a three-way blade switch. You also get the obligatory Jazzmaster tremolo but it has an adjust-o-matic-style bridge, making it a lot more stable. All in all, a nice guitar and I would definitely like to check one of these out. Available in Surf Green, Fiesta Red and Walnut finishes.

RRP – USD 1149.99 / GBP 899/ EUR 999
