Softube modular  ·  Source:

Softube have released a 14 second video teasing something they are planning to show at Musikmesse. It starts with a focus on some Doepfer modular hardware that’s tweeting away but is then turned off while the sounds appear to continue. The camera pans to some similar looking software modular synth running on a screen. It then cuts to a splash screen with the words “Modular – Softube”.

Here’s the latest information now that it’s been seen in the wild:

It features emulations of Eurorack modular hardware from the likes of Doepfer and Intellijel. The standard version will come with 6 Doepfer modules and over 20 utility modules including a mixer, delay and a sequencer. Then of course there’s the genius of the in-app purchasing of more modules as they become available. It all kicks off at $99 from the 11th May.
