We were already expecting the new Line 6 POD Go Wireless, as it got leaked back in January earlier this year. Now that its release becomes official, we are able to share more specifications and details of this new unit. Let’s dive straight in.
Line 6 POD Go Wireless
The new Line 6 POD Go Wireless has a host of HX effect models, plus a built-in Relay receiver and G10TII wireless transmitter, making it ideal for using live on stage, in the studio or just at home. The compact aluminium housed unit has a 4.3″ LCD screen, seven push encoders, and eight footswitches with coloured LED rings. It takes its sound engine from the Helix range. The fact that it now has a wireless solution integrated will certainly please a lot of players, as it means you aren’t tethered to the unit.
The unit features balanced stereo outputs, a duplicate amp output and a headphone jack, as well as a four-channel USB audio interface with re-amping capabilities. There’s also a mono/stereo effects loop and Snapshots, all of which means it should be simple enough to setup into most rigs.
Overall, I think it is a neat, compact solution that will be popular with many musicians. And the added wireless capabilities will make performing a lot easier. The new Line 6 POD Go Wireless is due out Spring 2021, but pre-orders are already open. Thomann is listing it at €629.
