On its Instagram, Lego has shared a photo of a Les Paul guitar made completely out of Lego bricks! Surprisingly, it looks pretty close to the real thing – in a kind of blocky, Minecraft way.

Lego Les Paul

This fantastic-looking Lego Sunburst Les Paul is astonishingly accurate in terms of the details. All the essential elements of this famous ’50s single cut design have been incorporated – it really does look like the real thing. The Lego guitar is made to 1:1 scale and the guitar’s body has layers of red, orange and yellow bricks to simulate a sunburst finish. This looks better than a lot of other copies I have seen in the past!

There is some technical Lego used on the headstock and tuners, along with lots of sloping and round tiles for the body carve and the control knobs respectively. It was created by Flickr user morimorilego who makes some amazing things out of the recreational and creative toy.

Hopefully, Gibson won’t try and sue them over the headstock shape, but at least if the headstock breaks you can just snap it back on again!
