Dunlop Cry Baby LTD Smoked Chrome

The Dunlop Cry Baby LTD Smoked Chrome wah is designed to be true to the original Thomas Organ design from 1966. It uses a Red Fasel coil, so it should have that classic retro wah tone from the era. Usually, this wah pedal would retail for €199 a pop, but you can get one now for a far more modest €89. At less than half the retail price, this is a crazy good deal! But if you want one, you better hurry, because the deal is available while stocks last. And once they’re gone, that’s it.

True-Bypass

The Cry Baby LTD has a modern day GCB95 circuit which has some distinct advantage over the original late ’60s models, such as the hardwired true-bypass. This means the unit won’t mess with your guitar tone when it is not engaged, compared to the originals which were known for their tone sucking. These appointments make this wah much more useful for modern players with more involved pedalboard setups. The pedals are made in USA and look pretty sweet in that smoked chrome finish, which makes them stand out from the standard black versions we are all used to seeing.

The original run for this pedal is limited to 1500 units worldwide and at this price, it is well worth a punt, I reckon. All you need now is a pair of Lionels (‘flares’ for all you non-UK residents) and you can unleash your best Jimi Spandex impersonation of Voodoo Curry. Or something like that.

RRP – EUR 199 with Deal Price of EUR 89
