Free plug-in for Black Friday: Waves Lofi Space
Waves’ annual free offer for Black Friday is a beloved tradition, and this year’s plug-in is no exception. Lofi Space is a lo-fi-style reverb and delay plug-in that bathes your tracks in saturated echoes and analog-sounding reverbs for that colorful vintage sound.
The echo section features a saturated delay that syncs to your host tempo or lets you dial in the delay time in BPM or milliseconds. There’s the obligatory feedback knob for those endless washes of delay, and you can activate ping pong mode for stereo effects.
The reverb lets you choose from spring or plate modes, both of which bring characteristic analog reverberation to your tracks. The delay and reverb can be used by themselves or combined for the ultimate Lofi Space experience.
On top of the delay and reverb effects, Lofi Space features a pair of high pass and low pass filters and a mono knob that lets you dial in a slimmer stereo field for an authentic lo-fi sound. There’s also an overall mix knob for adjusting the dry/wet mix.
Price and compatibility
Waves Lofi Space is available for FREE only today, November 26, 2021. Unfortunately, it appears that Waves’ servers are having some trouble handling the massive amounts of traffic. If you’re lucky and you do get through, all you need to do is enter your email address and you’ll receive a license code via email.
The regular price of the plug-in will be USD 99. Lofi Space runs on macOS 10.14.6 or higher (M1 supported) and Windows 10 or higher in VST, VST3, AAX and AU formats (64 bit) or stand-alone.
