The Fender John 5 Ghost Telecaster is the latest signature model for the influential guitarist and this limited edition model is practically all-white, with red flourishes and his trademark mirrored pickguard. We first heard it was coming last summer and now it is finally ready.
John 5 Ghost Telecaster
This new John 5 Ghost Telecaster looks a lot like the all-white Supreme limited-run model Stratocaster that Fender made a few years back. Apparently, John 5 saw this model and wanted to have a signature Telecaster version of his own.

White/Red
It features the Arctic White finish with striking red accents and this extends to the fretboard itself, which is completely white with no fret markers.

Dimarzio D Activator
This model comes fitted with a set of red Dimarzio D Activator humbuckers and has an arcade button-style kill switch. Perfect for more extreme stutters and reminiscent of Buckethead‘s all-white signature Gibson Les Paul.

Construction consists of a top-bound alder body and a one-piece maple neck which has a Custom John 5 medium C profile with a 9.5” radius fretboard and 21 frets.
It even has a red synthetic bone nut to match the overall white/red aesthetic of the guitar. Plus, it has that impressive single-piece mirrored pickguard.

Limited Run
Limited to only 600 units worldwide, this guitar will probably end up in the hands of collectors and fans of John 5. It is a pretty impressive guitar and is being built in the USA. John 5 has had a lot of signature guitars and all of them have been a little off-beat and well thought out.

I actually own one of the Triple Tele Deluxe models with three pickups and it is a great guitar. Totally unlike all the other Telecaster models I own (and I own about 10). This new limited run looks amazing and I can see it being popular with his fans.
The price includes an impressive matching custom white tolex hardshell case with a crushed red interior with John 5 Ghost embroidery and a certificate of authenticity.
