Ernie Ball has officially revealed its new 2021 Collection of guitars and basses, bringing in some great new colour schemes to the whole range of models. This includes new finishes for the Cutlass RS, StingRay RS, the Sabre guitars and the StringRay Special, StingRay Special five-string and the Bongo bass guitars.
Ernie Ball Music Man 2021 Collection
This huge revamp of colours for many of the Ernie Ball Music Man 2021 Collection means that we now have the Cutlass RS model available in two new finishes for both the SSS and HSS configured models, Powder Blue and Vintage Tobacco. You get a rosewood fretboard on the Powder Blue and a maple fretboard on the Vintage Tobacco.
The StingRay RS model is now also available in two brand new finishes, Powder Blue and Burnt Amber. The Powder Blue version comes with a rosewood fretboard, while Burnt Amber comes with a maple fretboard.
Then we have a figured maple top on an okoume body with a Gator Burst finish and black hardware for the 2021 Sabre models, along with Honey Suckle, Bougie Burst, Deep Blue Burst and Cobra Burst options.
StingRay Special 4 and 5 string
All those new colours for the guitars is pretty sweet, however the StingRay Special 4 and 5-string models now have eight new colours on offer: Amethyst Sparkle, Black, Snowy Night, Raspberry Burst, Smoked Chrome, Speed Blue, Burnt Ends and Forest Green. Which means the bass players are spoilt for choice!
Then finally the Bongo bass is now available in the new Harvest Orange finish, which is quite understated and tasteful, but still pops nicely on that body shape. This new finish is available on both the 4-string and 5-string version of the model.
All these great new colour options are sure to be popular with fans of EBMM guitars and basses. Following on from the St Vincent colour revamp at the beginning of April, it looks like this could be a great year for fans of the brand. Which one would you go for this year?
